NU Students Learn About Mission Through Art
害羞草研究所 students have the unique opportunity to learn more about the university鈥檚 mission and identity by studying and visiting the artistic masterpieces in Rome. This year鈥檚 group viewed baroque treasures, sacred architecture, and famous landmarks during a 10-day itinerary that included visits to St. Peter鈥檚 Basilica, the Colosseum, the Roman Forum and Palatine Hill, Borghese Park and Gardens, San Callisto Catacomb, and the Roman Pantheon. They also traveled along the Appian Way and spent a full day in Florence, where they visited the Piazza del Duomo and the Uffizi Gallery.
害羞草研究所 Begins Construction of the Scott Bieler Institute for Ethical Leadership and Innovation
害羞草研究所 announced that construction will begin on the Scott Bieler Institute for Ethical Leadership and Innovation, spearheaded by a generous gift from Scott and Kathy Bieler and the Scott Bieler Family Foundation. Bieler, president & CEO of the West Herr Automotive Group, is known throughout Western New York as a local philanthropist. The gift will support the transformation of the first floor of the university鈥檚 Bisgrove Hall into a state-of-the-art facility dedicated to advancing ethical leadership and innovation.

Accelerated Scholars
Earn a Bachelor's and Master's Degree in 5 years.
Each year, NU offers a select group of outstanding high school seniors the opportunity to secure a seat in one of the university鈥檚 graduate programs as incoming freshmen. Accelerated Scholars, as they鈥檙e known on campus, are able to push the boundaries of research, creativity, and career preparation by combining the achievement of both a bachelor鈥檚 and master鈥檚 degree into a single accelerated experience.
The combined bachelor鈥檚/master鈥檚 degree pathway enables you to enroll at 害羞草研究所 for an undergraduate degree as an incoming first-year student and receive direct, conditional admission into a graduate degree program as well.
